Munich – Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben admitted his recovery process goes according to plan. DFB-Pokal semi-final match against Borussia Dortmund Robben serve as a target for a comeback.
Dutch international winger currently abdominal muscle injury, which he sustained while Bayern defeated Borussia Moenchengladbach 0-2 at the end of last month. As a result, Robben had to pull over for a few weeks.
Robben has certainly will not be able to strengthen Die Rotten in two Champions League quarterfinal match against Porto. Even so, the 31-year-old footballer is hoping to return at the end of the season while dealing with Dortmund on 28 April.
“That is my hope. And for that I am proud of this team because they beat (Bayer) Leverkusen (on penalties in the quarter-finals). I also hope we will get away with getting rid of Porto. It would be nice for me too,” said Robben told Bild.
“Everything went smoothly. I was on the right track,” said the former PSV Eindhoven, Chelsea and Real Madrid as proclaimed ESPNFC.
“I now ride a bike, and started running again. We will do it carefully but also worked hard to comebackku. I can not say exactly when it happened,” Robben straightforward.
For Bayern, Robben missed very detrimental. Because, Robben so prolific in this season and has packed 19 goals and 10 assists in 29 appearances in all competitions.
