Manchester – Rafael da Silva is not going to play for Manchester United in the rest of the season. Brazilian defender suffered a rib injury and had to sit out until the season ends.
Rafael get the injury while playing for Manchester United U-21 in the match against Leicester City on Monday (4/20/2015) ago. Manchester United manager, Louis van Gaal, ensuring Rafael will not be able to play again in the remainder of this season.
“It was unbelievable. The bone ribs broken so he will not play again this season for Manchester United. It’s very unfortunate,” said Van Gaal on Sky Sports.
Rafael is not the only United players who get injured in the game against the Leicester. Adnan Januzaj having problems in his ankle, but not too badly. Januzaj expected to appear when the Red Devils face Everton in the Premier League on Sunday (26/04/2015).
“The injury was so severe,” said Van Gaal about Januzaj conditions.
Marcos Rojo, Michael Carrick, Phil Jones, and Robin van Persie will not appear in the game against Everton because it is still injured. Meanwhile, Jonny Evans was able to play again after his sentence ended.
“Just (Danny) Blind who can play against Everton. But, Jones, Carrick, and Rojo can not play,” said Van Gaal.
