“I think we made some defensive mistakes, some individual defensive mistakes. It was not easy for me to overcome the player Nacer Chadli and Harry Kane. Also very difficult for Tottenham defender dealing with Eden Hazard and Diego Costa, who performed amazing,” said Mourinho to BT Sport, Friday (02/01/2015).
“You can talk about the key moments of the game, but I prefer to focus on the results. The players have been tried but little reaction fifth goal killed us was fantastic,” he added.
“Every game is unpredictable, but there are things in the game that can be predicted. Of course I hate to lose but I prefer as I did against Newcastle with a net performance of referee Martin Atkinson and our luck,” he said.
Chelsea currently have 46 points with Manchester City, but the Blues ahead on goal difference. Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur perched in fifth with 34 points.
