Malmo – Juventus coach, Massimiliano Allegri, call Malmo will be different at home. Allegri was wary of the Swedish club. Moreover, Juve had a poor away record.
In the Champions League Matchday 5, Juve will be treated Malmo in Swedbank Stadium, Thursday (11/27/2014) pm dawn. The Bianconeri took full points to increase their chances of qualifying for the round of 16.
Juve are now occupying the third position standings of Group A with six points from four games. They were under Atletico Madrid (9 points) and Olympiakos (6 points).
Although on paper is more favored, Juve should remain fully alert. They have to clean up after the previous two away games lost to Atletico and Olympiakos, each with a score of 0-1.
“That’s not a problem because we lost two home games where we played very well,” Allegri said on Football Italia.
“In Madrid, we showed great character, while in Greece we had plenty of chances despite performing poorly in the first half,” he added.
Malmo is debutants in the group phase of the Champions League this season. They had twice played at home, that is when the beat Olympiakos 2-0 and lost 0-2 to Atletico. Meanwhile, at the first meeting between the two teams, Juve‘s 2-0 win over Malmo in Turin.
“Malmo displays a very different game at home because they are more aggressive and some times played very well,” said Allegri.
“They did not deserve to lose from Atletico because they had more shots on goal. It will be a difficult game because every team struggled to qualify,” he said.
